Note that Luma Temtem will also not appear shortly before a server reset or maintenance, from the moment the associated notification icon appears. all third-stage evolutions, cannot be captured and will not appear as Luma. Untamed Temtem with a catch rate of 0, i.e. With one or two Luma parents, the chance for Luma offspring increases to 1 in 750 and 1 in 75 respectively. These rules do not apply to bred Temtem which inherit the stats from the parents. The other four stats have a range between 25 and 50.

They will always be generated with at least three perfect SVs. Well what about the people that don't want to experience it? Especially since it was a feature later added. The chance to encounter a Luma Temtem in the wild is 1 in 7500. Their given reason for not adding both a toggle for players that do not want it regardless of finetuning, and finetuning it is 'we want people to experience it'. Yet finetuning it takes infinitely more effort than a checkbox that says 'Dynamic Battle Camera ' - they did it with egg opening animations. Put in a different way, they soon adjusted the horrible settings to more tolerable ones (slower, different timers, more refined). Other games not having it and/or being worse isn't a reason not to.

It not being optional for other games isn't a reason not to. Yet not a single point for why this feature that was later added can't be optional. Every single comment I see in regards of this topic boils down toĢ) It's not that bad just tolerate it lol I decided to (regretfully) look back into the Temtem Reddit and this topic pops up. The camera launched in a state that comes off like a first draft that had absolutely no adjustments made after they got the functions working, as if QA simply took the day off. And of course no option to turn it off, because who believes in options in 2022? Crema handled this very arrogantly and only made changes that should have been done pre-launch after people were literally quitting over it and their playerbase count started dropping even more than it already was. They showed their little preview clip of the battle camera a month or so before it launched, there was more than enough time to make simple changes to slow it down when they were getting near-unanimous feedback about it, they didn't, it launched and made a big stink, and took a month to fix, in the meantime some players couldn't even play due to it. No excuses or defense for what happened here on Crema's part. Gamefreak didn't show it in a beta/pre-release clip, get feedback from almost everyone that it was too fast, and do absolutely nothing with that widespread feedback, and then have the camera start making some people sick.Previously the camera did start moving almost instantly, was a LOT faster, and switched views much more rapidly due to the fast movement. You are only seeing the Temtem camera after the massive amount of negative feedback regarding it, and the entire month that passed before Crema implemented their fixes for it.That's the biggest excuse they have that I can't give Crema. But frankly speaking, I can't say it's worse for Gamefreak when they by and large haven't had a community reaction to react TO. Should it have an option? Yeah, if one person gets sick from something toggleable, make that a toggle. To be fair though I've been subbed to the subreddit and haven't seen it there, where it'd be likely to pop up.

I can't even find another person talking about this in SV, though the searches ARE clogged by in-game camera feature. TemTem changed it, and then took no action when their community acted against it. Which means it never just changed this, and then plugged its ears when people complained.Īctive camera has been a thing since Generation 6 (or 1 if you count non-main series), there was no camera based backlash there, and those who embraced the 3D Models by and large said absolutely nothing about the camera. And fourth, this game never released with a standard camera. Third, you may not know it, you can stop this camera at any time with the L trigger. I may be wrong but I believe path is one of if not the biggest. Second, actual speed of the camera isn't really as much of a factor as you'd think. First things first, I've legitimately never heard anyone say this camera makes them dizzy, whereas that was complained en masse when TemTems released.
